Jan 16th Human Geography Class
Today was the last class of the semester. In our last class of the semester, as I mentioned in the blog yesterday, we took the test about the North Korea. There was 30 questions total and I think I did pretty well on it though I didn't study. I had time to study with Alex and Ryan in the dorm yesterday, but I was calling my friend in Korea so I didn't study at all. I didn't see my grades yet but I hope my last test of the semester is not messed up. Um..I want to talk about how my Human Geography class has been gone for semester. I would like to say Mr.Schick is the great teacher and I've learned so many things from him this semester and this class. I had really good time this class, this class is my favorite class, it was fun and my classmates are all kind and active. I feel like I'll be missing this class so much and wish I could have Mr.Schick as my Western Civillization teacher. As a conclusion, I want to give special thank to Mr.Schick for teaching us and always hardworking in our teaching. Wish you best luck Mr.Schick.

Jan 15th Human Geo Class
Today we kept on studying with the PPT about the Leaders of North Korea. Today in class we were just more focused on discussion than looking at the PPT and learning things. Well the classmates were saying that US has to drop a nuclear bomb in North Korea. I thought they were too much emotional today and just yellinh that they have to just bomb. I felt it wasn't too great discussion. So most of the times I just kept quiet not saying anything. My thought about North Korea is that they are just acting like a kid. Therefore, they are keep trying to threat the world with the fact that they have a nuclear weapon and going to attack South Korea USA. I feel like 21 century does not allow threating with the power. Furthermore the world need to cooperate and associate to help each others not just saying we have weapon. Anyway in class tomorrow, we'll be having a test about the North Korea, so I would have to prepare and study hard for my last grade in semester.

Today what we did in the class is we were looking at the power point about North Korea, specifically three leaders Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Eun. These are the note taking that I did in the class.

Jan 14th of 2015 Human Geography Class
Today was my first class after my vacation in Korea. The class resumed last week but I came a week later so this was my first day and the first class. Anyway, while I'm away the class were watching the documentary video called "Life in North Korea". As the title the video is about the reality in North Korea. This video came to me pretty fresh because I am the only Korean in the class and I learned many things and heard many different things about North Korea before. The fun thing was that I was the only one in the class who can understand what they say in the video without the caption. I already knew many things from the video, but this became chance for me to rethink about the North Korean society. What I thought while watching video is that they are nasty. To be honest I hate North Korea. I feel like we(South Korea) do not have to unite with the North Korea because they are just being stubborn which are leading them to more isolation in the world community. Another reason why I hate North Korea is that South Korea is keep trying to help North Korea but they are occaisionally attacking South Korea with the weapon asking for more help in basic foods. I really don't think we have to help the country that is attacking us because they are the same nation with us. Today's blog was basically about my opinion towards North Korea, but I felt this is the thing I would write in my blog today.

In today's class, we've got the test papers that we took yesterday back. Well surprisingly, I got the highest score in the class. I've got 32 questions right out of 33 questions so I've got 97%. This was surprising result to me because I was little worried about my score because I missed the last class before the quiz which is the review session. Well I think I've been rewarded what I worked. So I feel very proud and happy. Also my score was the highest among the class. We also did the review of the test. We went over all the questions and now I know the answer of the question that I got wrong. I feel I need to prepare harder for my mid term exam.

I was absence for the class yesterday because I was sick. But today I felt better so I came to school.
As Mr.Schick mentioned pretty while ago, today we took the test about Cultural Characteristics and the movie Slum dog Millionaire. Though I wasn't in class yesterday, so I missed some parts and the review time for the quiz. But I studied pretty hard at night yesterday with my Chinese friends Ryan and Alex. Test was pretty fine than I thought. I was worried about the test because it can be very effective if you miss the class just before the test. I can say that I've putted a lot of effort on these so that I don't have to feel bad looking at my score. There were some questions that were confusing but I hope my grades are pretty fine.
